Life is full of challenges. Personally, I’ve walked through seasons that felt overwhelming and painful. Yet through it all, I’ve experienced the truth of God’s promise — that what the enemy meant for harm, He can turn for good (Genesis 50:20). That’s the heart behind this design: that no matter how deep the ashes, God can bring forth beauty.
The Symbol of the Rose
The centrepiece of the design is a rose rising from ashes. Originally envisioned as a red rose, it quickly became clear that a golden rose spoke more deeply. Gold represents value, purity, and refinement — the way God transforms our lives through fire and makes them more precious than before.
Inspired by Beauty and the Beast
The rose enclosed in glass is also a nod to the Beauty and the Beast imagery. But in the ReverenceUK vision, it represents something even greater: God’s divine protection. What He restores, He covers and preserves. Nothing is wasted in His hands.

Encircling the design is the life-giving promise of Isaiah 61:3:
“To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of joy instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.”
